Pharmaceutical industry relates with human life and health as a very special industry, it has a very prominent characteristic in earnings and growth. In international market, the giant pharmaceutical companies have advantages in technology, brand and R&D like Pfizer, Novartis and so on. The giant foreign companies also have a sizable share in the domestic market. In China, Pharmaceutical industry started slowly compare with foreign. From the beginning of the 20 th century, China's Pharmaceutical industry started lately, from the most basic manual to use traditional techniques to the mass use of the development of modern science and technology and management methods. After the reform and opening up, China's industrial development level increase fast year by year, the pharmaceutical industry development as well as with the development of technology. The average gross value of production in pharmaceutical industry increase 17.7% each year, it is higher than the national industrial average annual growth rate, but also higher than development speed of pharmaceutical industry nearly 30 years in advanced countries. China has become one of the fastest growing pharmaceutical producing countries in the world.As a pharmaceutical production enterprise, on the whole operation system, there are some parts including the R&D, production, sales and so on. The part of production supply chain is the key research topic in this theme. If a pharmaceutical production enterprise had a long supply cycle, they will face the customer churn, more inventories with raw materials and WIP, capital chain rupture and many other problems. How to solve these problems will take customers to contact businesses more closely, make the enterprise have a faster turnover of funds, lower operating costs and better market competitiveness.This dissertation base on a real case of T Company as the research target, and present T Company how to use the supply chain management and lean production tools reduce FBD production supply process. T Company research the Lead Time Process from four main parts-- purchasing, planning, production and logistics to obtain. In each practice, this dissertation use appropriate tools to analyze and improve each process, include Supplier's strategic cooperation, VMI model, JIT model, Value Stream Mapping, reinforce information share and so on. By improving key elements of the production cycle, the dissertation complete the purpose of reduced the FBD product Lead Time of the entire cycle from materials procurement to finished product delivery.
