Supply and Marketing Cooperative was a special system arrangement in the period of national planned economy. In the first thirty years, after the founding of The People's Republic of China, the supply and marketing cooperatives gradually developed and became the main channel for the production and sale of rural goods and materials. In this context, all the mechanisms of Supply and Marketing Cooperatives were under the management of plan, with a deep institutional stigma. This paper discusses the development,the management system, business management and the impact on rural society of Supply and Marketing Cooperatives in Jiangxi Province,from 1949 to 1979.The first part mainly introduces the basic development situation of Cooperative ventures in Jiangxi province, focusing on the establishment and development of Supply and Marketing Cooperatives in Jiangxi province. From establish to the whole process of development,the supply and marketing cooperative presents the characteristic of top-down, following a golden period of development,it experienced several setbacks, with a very tortuous process, which with the development policies in different periods of the state are closely related. The second part mainly explores the management mechanism of the supply and marketing cooperatives, which analysis of the Supply and Marketing Cooperatives from three aspects, such as the establishment of the organization, the system of the surplus distribution, the plan management system, the operation mechanism. In this paper, the operation mechanisms of supply and marketing cooperatives are under the unified planning management system, there was a very significant "institutional arrangements". The third part mainly on the business conditions of Supply and Marketing Cooperatives, including the main business, operating characteristics and the management problems and adjustment.Thus revealing the defects and adjustment of the it. The fourth part mainly discusses the status of Supply and Marketing Cooperatives in the rural market and in the leadership of rural businessman transformation. Properties of the Supply and Marketing Cooperatives based on the historical review. The fifth part focuse on the characteristics, nature and history effect of Supply and Marketing Cooperatives development.This paper argues that the rapid development of Supply and Marketing Cooperatives, because of national implementation of planned economic system and the policy strongly supported,thus it became the main channel for the circulation of rural goods,.however, after entering 80 th countries economic system reform, without the advantages of the system,the Supply and Marketing Cooperatives decline gradually. Throughout the thirty years after the founding of the Supply and Marketing Cooperatives, planning management and policy support were the most important factor in its development, without these two points, the Supply and Marketing Cooperatives decline. The Supply and Marketing Cooperatives After the reform are essentially different, nowadays, deepening the reform of supply and marketing cooperatives should take history as a mirror, re-positioning, truly serving the "agriculture, countryside and farmers".
