Research On Knowledge Emergence Of Start-Ups In Business Incubator

Knowledge is the essential key elements in the growth of S&T enterprises and the promotion of the knowledge management level of business incubators has important effect to promote the healthy development of S&T enterprises. However, current research on knowledge management of incubators focus more on incubators how to provide knowledge services to incubated enterprises and ignores knowledge exchange between incubated enterprises as well as links to external knowledge resources. Therefore, the purpose of this paper is to enhance the incubators' level of internal and external knowledge management, with network theory and evolutionary game theory as the research tools, and to show the process of systemic emergence of knowledge network and knowledge super network in incubators as well as the process of knowledge sharing of evolutionary game outside the incubators by means of modeling and simulation.Research on incubated enterprise knowledge network and entrepreneur knowledge super network in incubators based on the CAS theory, taking into account the unique enterprise entry and exit mechanism of incubators, and built incubated enterprise knowledge network model and entrepreneur knowledge super network model. Incubated enterprise knowledge network simulation results show that the system emerged knowledge network structure with small world characteristics. The knowledge level increased with the enterprises' knowledge innovation ability, knowledge absorptive capacity and exit rate. Besides, incubated enterprises' knowledge growth, knowledge level uniformity, knowledge spatial correlation, average path length, clustering coefficient and average degree of network presented cyclical changes. Entrepreneurs knowledge super network simulation results show that the knowledge performance indicators and network structure index also exhibit cyclical changes for comprehensive incubator and professional incubator, but present relatively large differences. Entrepreneurs' average amount of knowledge, average knowledge points, knowledge activity, network density and the average clustering coefficient in the professional incubator is higher than those in the comprehensive incubator, while the network centric index is lower than those in the comprehensive incubator.The research on knowledge sharing between incubator and venture capital constructed knowledge sharing dynamic evolution game model between incubator population and VC population in the perspective of co-opetition and introduced reputation losing, knowledge sharing costs and other factors more fully. Simulation results show that reputation mechanism and knowledge sharing cost reduction are beneficial to the formation of knowledge sharing evolutionary stable strategy in the process of evolution game between incubator population and VC population.
