Quality which is the key of referring to the survival of an enterprise is the lifeline of enterprise, as well as quality which has been taken as the foundation of growing enterprise is the lifeblood of the enterprise. Improving the level of quality management becomes important, because it can make an enterprise run smoothly and expand fast.First of all, quality may guarantee an enterprise a tiny bit of land in the market and developed a lot later. Secondly, improved quality is much competitive among competitors in the market. The method of studying management is applied in the paper. After considering RH project Quality management case, the background of D heavy industry enterprise and the characteristics of this field, the main problems have been concluded by analyzing the present situation of quality management. It includes the following three aspects:firstly, parts of the cadre staff are lack of understanding of the quality management, so it causes many quality problems of the products; Secondly, the management system are lack of continuity and traceability due to the contracted relation between the mother companies and branch companies; Thirdly, the staff have no subjective initiatives in quality improvement, because junior staff get low payment and bad welfare, and there is no incentive mechanism for effective performances. Secondly, based on quality management process and innovative theory, and motivation related management theories, those theories were applied in analyzing quality management process of D heavy industrious company in detail. The problems lie in three aspects including weak consciousness of quality, inefficient management system and imperfect performance evaluation system. Finally, we make solution of the problems occurring in the quality management process, and bring up feasible implementation measures, mainly including:firstly, the comprehensive concepts that quality means profits were built to strengthen the consciousness of quality crisis. The monitoring process and management assessment should be improved in order to improve the quality awareness of managerial staff. Developing a good atmosphere by making all staff involve in the quality management, care for the quality and value quality. Secondly, carrying on three-level constructive management activities, intensified implementation, distributing responsibilities, optimizing management system of branch companies and apartment teams, rationalizing the management process, making performance evaluation convenient, strengthening the management of information platform and making sure all of operation has been monitored. Thirdly, making adjustment and optimize the salary system based on job rank, promote the rate of motivated performance, and gradually improve and perfect evaluation system mechanism.In general, on the basis on quality management theories, the paper analyzes the typical problems occurring in the original quality management of D heavy industrious company. The quality management system will be upgraded in D company including developing the quality consciousness, perfecting the quality management system and motivating the performance evaluation system. This study provides references and guidance to large-scale and medium-scale heavy machinery enterprises.
