During the time of reform and opening up, a big part of rural surplus labor force transfer to big cities, from the predominantly agrarian western regions to the southeast coast, and from the vast rural areas to the cities, contributing to the advancement of national industrialization and urbanization. Many of these peasant workers have to return to their hometown to seek a living in the time of the economic crisis, especially in recent years. Jiangxi is mainly an agricultural province exporting a lot of labor services, peasant workers back from cities have serious reemployment problems. According to the 13 th Five-Year Plan, we should try our best to further promote the new urbanization, promote the reform of household registration system as a whole and equal basic public services, and improve the incentive mechanism for people of the permanent residents. The employment problem of the peasant workers from cities is an important part of citizenization of the peasant workers.The study is developed in six chapters: Chapter 1 introduction; Chapter 2 related definitions and theories; Chapter 3 Analysis on the current employment situation of the peasant workers returning from cities in Jangxi; Chapter 4 The reemployment problems of the returning peasant workers; Chapter 5 Suggestions on the employment of the returning peasant workers in Jiangxi; Chapter 6 conclusion and prospect. The author refers to Lewis, Marx and other classical population flow theory, and draws on the first-hand data obtained through the investigation of Yudu Industrial Zone in Jiangxi province. In this paper, the author analyzes the personal, psychological, consumption and other aspects of these peasant workers, and studies their employment difficulties and the problems on the side of the government departments, and puts forward some suggestions on how to solve the employment problem of the returning peasant workers.
