Risk Management Research On Chongqing Liangjiang Financial Guarantee Company

SMEs are the important components of national economy, playing an important role in promoting economical growth, expanding the social employment, promoting technological innovation, and providing collaboration services. However, due to the special credit risk of SMEs and the shortage of credit guarantee system, financing difficulty has always been the “bottleneck” which troubles the further development of SMEs. So credit guarantee is a realistic choice to resolve the financing problems of SMEs. And SMEs' credit guarantee is a kind of industry with high risk and low income, so it is an extremely important and complex issue to control the risk.This paper takes the Chongqing Liangjiang New Area Financing Guarantee Company as the research object, and elaborates the development history, business situation, industry features and competition environment completely based on the documents collection of related theory home and abroad and field investigation. Then it analyzes the internal risk and external risk of the company. Finally it proposes the measures of avoiding and controlling the risks by employing the risk management theory and risk control model.The internal risk prevention and control measures include establishing a scientific governance mechanism, improving the company's risk control management ability, setting up the scientific guarantee risk evaluation system, formulating the scientific diligence procedures, building the standard risk compensation mechanism and the reasonable insurance supervision system, and cultivating the high quality staff team. The external risk control measures include getting government's policy support, evading the market risk and the external business ethics risk, combining the counter guarantee resources and reinforcing the cooperation with banks to avoid the risks.
