Integration of Eurasian countries began its process from the moment the Soviet Union collapsed. Members of the Eurasian Union have been hoping to integrate like the EU in political, economic and security spheres. Eurasian Economic Union is an integral part in the development of Eurasian block. The foundation of Eurasian Economic Union plays an important role in today's world. In the face of the global economic crisis, the Eurasian Economic Union is increasingly attracting everyone's attention. Kazakhstan as a member of the Eurasian Economic Union, has improved the commodity structure of its foreign trade, and that is an important component in the development of an open economy. This reflects not only the strength and level of Kazakhstan's foreign trade, but also the internal economic development of the country under the influence of the Eurasian Economic Union. Together with the formation of Eurasian Economic Union, trade relations between Kazakhstan and China are growing stronger, trade volumes are increasing with each year. However, simultaneously many problems have emerged, and one of the most important among them is commodity structures of Kazakhstan and China.This work is dedicated to the research of Kazakhstan and China's commodity trade structure optimization problem in the context of Eurasian Economic Union, from the perspective of commodity structure reorganization and optimization. The research also includes the ways to increase trade turnover between Kazakhstan and China, for the steadier growth of trade between two countries, strengthening of transregional trade between the member-countries of the Eurasian Economic Union and China, collaboration and cooperation of Eurasian Economic Union and Silk Road Economic Belt, providing expertise and theoretical guidance. First, the article describes the development process of the Eurasian Economic Union, the status, characteristics, operation mechanism and the rules, analysis of Kazakhstan and China's commodity structures. The main topics of this research are problems of trade structures and causes of changes. Secondly, the factors influencing the trade structure of Kazakhstan and China are investigated, starting with the current rules of Eurasian Economic Union, to the production and consumption structures, geopolitical factors of two counties, Kazakhstan's Economic policy, the cost values of trade operations, investments costs, etc. It is a qualitative analysis of factors influencing the trade structure of Kazakhstan and China.Finally, the attention is directed to the optimization of Kazakhstan's commodity structure with China, recommendations and effective measures for countries and enterprises.
