Along with the globalization, market changes and progress in technology, management skill of modern enterprise is developing rapidly. Efficient performance appraisal, as an important and positive means of management skill in enhancing corporate competitiveness and achieving corporate goal, is introduced and used frequently; moreover, much attention is given.Resulting from depressive economy growth and market drop, GD Company faces profit drop and low management performance appraisal. Based on the background above, by adopting article research, questionnaire survey, statistic analysis and other methods, this essay aims to thoroughly find out what situation GD Company is going through and what the problems are and above all, solve the problems. Balanced score cards, key performance appraisal index, objective management, degree assessment, all of which are proven efficient assessment way for performance appraisal are used for differently corporate admin levels, for instance, top management team level, manager/officer level, and employees of grass roots. Especially in chapter 4 of the essay, it demonstrates the utility design of performance appraisal assessment system of GD Company, including its targets(goals to achieve) and how to build up the system, assessment methods, assessment index and weighting factor, assessment standard, body and period, tables, feedback mechanism of assessment results;and it further talks about salary design in GD Company's assessment system and especially that with most incentive outcome in assessment result application: performance appraisal in salary profile, where detailded layout planning is demonstrated.
