Development Status And Countermeasrues Of Dongjiang Free Trade Port Zone Aircraft Leasing Industry

With the continuing rapid development of China’s economy and civil aviation industry, the demand for aviation passenger and cargo services is increasing. China is regarded to be the world’s most potential aircraft lease market. As the only experimental area for aircraft leasing, Tianjin Dongjiang Port Free Trade Zone(DFTP)is supported by General Office of the State Council and Tianjin Municipal Government with a series of policies such as “First Try First”. The aggregation effect of its aircraft leasing industry is gradually appearing. In this background, based on Dongjiang Port Free Trade Zone, a combination of its aircraft leasing industry supporting taxation, foreign exchange, legal and other policy advantages, analyzing the current situation of development and practical problems encountered in the operation, and the corresponding countermeasures has a certain promotion effect to the aircraft leasing industry of China.Based upon profound reading and analysis of literature home and abroad and practical research of Dongjiang Port Free Trade Zone, this paper used literature research and AHP-SWOT analysis.Then the basic theory of the airplane leasing was introduced. After the introduction of the basic conditions of the current aircraft leasing industry, this paper focused on the development status of aircraft leasing industry in Dongjiang Port Free Trade Zone. After elaborating on the status of the aircraft leasing industry in Dongjiang Port Free Trade Zone, this article used AHP method and SWOT analysis method to analyze the internal and external environment of Dongjiang Port Free Trade Zone, with SWOT method as qualitative analysis and AHP method as quantitative analysis. Then a research was conducted in Dongjiang Port Free Trade Zone to better understand and analyze the actual problem of the specific aircraft leasing operation. Finally, appropriate measures were proposed to deal with the specific practical problems of aircraft leasing business processes, from the government level, Dongjiang management committee level and micro-level, to promote the development of the aircraft leasing industry of Dongjiang Port Free Trade Zone.
