Hydro Power industry is basic industry of national economy. It is pointed out in national hydro power 12 th five-year-plan development scheme that “To accelerate the development and utilize of water power is an important and effective method to increase the cleaning energy supply, optimize energy structure, guarantee energy safety, cope with climate changes, and realize the sustainable development.”The hydro turbine manufacturing is not only the basic process of hydro power industry, but also covers the general manufacturing steps of machinery industry, the study of energy saving and pollution reduction method could reduce the manufacturing cost and pollution. It is also one study direction of environment engineering, and also benefit to the other machinery company.This thesis attempts to departure from the technics of hydro turbine manufacturing, investigate, analysis the critical energy consumption and pollution process, based on the management and technical method, refer to the domestic and foreign theory like AHP, on lighting system, compressed air system and welding fume collection, combine with the practice on site, to introduce these theories and method apply cases, annually electricity saving 0.5 million kW, welding fume emission reduction 25%.
