According to a survey from The Economist, the exchange-rate fluctuation problem has become a top issue for 500 multinational enterprise leaders. The exchange rates of the world's major currencies such as Japanese yen, Australian dollar and Swiss franc has appeared over 20% amplitude in one year, and Pounds, Euro even over 30% since 2008. The exchange rate of RMB will tends to marketization with a floating exchange rate system in China, and the rate has a certain amount of amplitude rather than encouraging the RMB to appreciate since 2014. So the exchange rate of RMB will become more like other currencies, the fluctuation will more frequently and larger, this is a big for global supply chain management.As an important idea and method of emergency management, disruption management emphasizes that unforseen expenses and facts will influence on the result of emergency management while we change the original plan, so we should keep the original plan as possible as it can. This paper concern the problem of how the global supply chain dealing with the exchange rate under the disruption management perspective. Chapter 1~2 is the introduction part which focuses on theoretical and practical significances of the selection of this topic and literatures relevant to this paper.Chapter 3~5 discuss whether the disruption management can help the global supply chain dealing with the exchange rate fluctuation from demand side and supply side separately, and the main strategies that the global supply chain can take. Chapter 3~4 are focus on the exchange rate fluctuation from demand-side. Chapter 3 researches on whether traditional supply chain contracts can coordinate the supply chain when facing exchange rate fluctuation under disruption management perspective. Chapter 4 gives three main operational strategies and their application conditions in dealing with the fluctuations, these strategies are the supply chain maintains the original plan, the supply chain key member deal with the challenge alone and the supply chain responds to the fluctuation coordinately. The researching range is extended to supply side fluctuation in Chapter 5 and discuss whether the conclusions in chapter 4 are still set up.With more countries using a floating exchange rate system, the exchange rate fluctuation is apt to be the norm, how to deal with this situation is an urgent issue to global supply chain mangers. The current research of exchange rate fluctuation mainly concentrates on single company using financial strategies or operational strategies. From the view of whole supply chain, this paper compares three main operational strategies and several conclusions are gained from these analysis, improve the research in this areas.
