Research On The Evaluation And Performance System Of Civil Aircraft Supplier

The civil aviation industry is one of the national strategic industries. It plays an important role in promoting the development of the national economy and improving the national scientific and technological level. The research and development of large aircraft has been identified as one of the 16 key projects by the "National long-term science and technology development plan 2006-2020". It will have positive effects in both the development of civil aviation manufacturing industry and the improvement of the overall strength of our country's manufacturing sector. The evaluation of airplane suppliers and their performance is mainly studied in this paper from the following aspects.Firstly, a brief introduction is given to the status quo of the domestic and international research for the civilian aircraft supplier management. Based on the summarization of the experience and lessons in China's civil aviation industry and the detailed analysis of the industrial chain of the domestic large aircraft project, the main principles of the supplier selection are expounded for the domestic large aircraft project.Secondly, according to the characteristics of domestic civil aviation manufacturing industry, a supplier evaluation system, with research and development capability, financial status and comprehensive management level being criteria, and a supplier performance system which contains such criteria as production and quality, logistics and delivery, and customer service are established by employing the essential theory and method of supplier management. For different types of suppliers, the Analytic Hierarchy Process is applied to calculate the weight of each criterion and thus the weights are set targeted.Finally, through the analysis of simulation example, the processes of civil aircraft supplier evaluation and performance evaluation are specified and the effectiveness of the evaluation and performance systems is basically verified. At the same time, the regression analysis of the results of performance and evaluation is conducted by applying the Partial Least-Squares method for modeling, which provides a reference for the optimization of the supplier evaluation and performance system.
