With the urbanization in Chinese cities, the commercial concrete industry is developing at a high speed, which brings intense competition to those Chinese enterprises. As a result, it becomes very critical how to survive and create business growth by giving full play to their strengths and overcoming weakness for the concrete enterprises.This paper reviews history and business development of concrete in China and mainly focuses on the development process of Xiamen concrete industry. By using several research methods like PEST analysis and Potter competition model, this essay will examine how the present competition works, point out the opportunities and threats in the developing industry as well as the main elements of competition in the local concrete industry. Finally, based on the analysis of the B company in Xiamen with SWOT analysis of enterprise strategic management theory, this paper explores the design of the development strategy and target for Company B.Combination with strategic management theory and the characteristics of the commercial concrete industry, this paper will plan and examine for future achievement and research for local enterprises and especially Company B, in the hope of making more impact on the concrete enterprises in practice.
