As competition intensifies in construction machinery industry, now expanding competition in aftermarket service and offering their service commitment and support platform. Spare parts as a key business to improve service levels and profitability of the service will become more and more important and will be thought as importance by more manufacturers. Research for lean logistics to improve service timeliness and capability of profit is more meaningful.This paper is taking a company's overseas parts order as an example, based on the operation organization chart, taking the parts business as mainline and using lean logistic principle, clear, audit and analyze the current business process. Two problems with current business process:one is parts order are not delivered timely and information system is undeveloped. Another is parts inventory management in chaos and overstock with parts orders low fulfilled rate. To solve the problems above using lean logistics to optimize parts orders delivery process and control the inventory.1. Order delivery process optimization:through the process of analyzing and applying lean thoughts to find the non-value-added services and eliminating the inefficiency in process and using information technology to develop parts order management system to improve order timely delivery.2. Inventory control management:through an analysis of parts inventory control and management factors, identify important elements that can be controlled: order location and order quantity. Through optimized parts ABC classification, comparing new added parts and old parts by sales value versus total sales value to perform ABC classification. According to different property of the parts to make different inventory strategy:class A ordered by fixed quantity, class B ordered by time and quantity, class C ordered by time. Also according to different materials to build a mathematical model to calculate and compare the data to prove the way is able to improve the inventory levels and reduce inventory costs.This Paper discussed logistics related theory and its application in enterprise marketing processes and analyzes inventory control theory in the management of spare parts and application. Construction of information system for spare parts inventory control and order processing system and application of lean logistics are meaningful for reference.
