Study On Kailuan Group Coal Chemical Industry Upgrading Under The New Normal For Economy

Under the new economy background of China, most traditional coal enterprises suffered heavy losses, with limited potential. How to take the path of and upgrading? It seems an important issue for policy maker to decide how to promote transformation of coal chemical industry. For the long term development, Kailuan Group as a largest stated-owned enterprise with long history, should find a correct way to accelerate the upgrading of coal chemical industry. It is necessary to making up deficits and reducing the losses. Industrial upgrading can be improved a lot and also consistent with the development trend of coal enterprises.Based on this, this paper mainly researched upgrading coal chemical industry of Kailuan Group, using the methods of literature, investigation questionnaire, interviews and analysis. It analyzed the measures of coal chemical industry upgrading for Kailuan Group under the new China’s economy, and proposed the practical measures and suggestions.Firstly, this paper mainly presented background, significance, present situation, content and method. On the basis of academic results at home and abroad, took Kailuan Group as a typical example, proposed a series of innovative strategies after analyzing practically. Those strategies could be well used as guidance for industry upgrade and other coal enterprises, which has further enriched the theory of the present coal chemical industry upgrade in China.Secondly, it theoretically discussed the upgrading for coal chemical industry, mainly based on analysis of coal chemical industry, industry upgrading and new normal economy. With the development of coal chemical industry, it is inevitable for coal chemical enterprise to transformation by optimization and upgrading, to enhance the competitiveness of the resource exhausted coal enterprises. Besides, it is also inevitable for environmental protection and resource protection under the resource pressure in China. It indicates an important practical significance to promote upgrading of coal chemical industry under new economic environment.Thirdly, it deeply analyzed current status of Kailuan’s coal chemical industry in two aspects of enterprise profile and industrial development. Affected by macroeconomic slowdown, weakness of coal and steel industry, the coal chemical industry of Kailuan Group faced many difficulties and challenges. Kailuan Group has its own advantages, such as location, resources, management and other potential, so there is potential for optimization and transformation. It analyzed strategy selection and development direction of the Kailuan coal chemical industrial upgrading, by using the WT theory for four aspects including advantages, weaknesses, opportunities and threats.Finally, combined with the current issues in Kailuan Group and actual conditions, and proposed the core elements, countermeasures and ensuring measures of Kailuan optimization on the base of the guiding ideology, basic principles, upgrade strategy, guarantee measures and so on. Kailuan Group should face the China’s new economy with the principle of "maximum advantage, highlight characteristics, foster strengths and circumvent weaknesses and gain opportunity", and insist characteristics, diversification and low carbon development. In order to ensure the sustained, healthy and orderly development of coal chemical industry, it should take full use of Port-centered and location advantage, highlight the characteristics to avoid competition and accelerate industrial uperading.
