Optimization And Improvement Study On OHS Management System Of Gold Mine X

Mining industry is a fundamental industry to any country. Frequent accidents in mining industry in China take many people's lives every year. Strengthening Occupational Health and Safety management in mining enterprises is not only required by national economic development, but also a common concern of every nation and the whole mining industry worldwide.A comprehensive assessment and explorations on how to improve and optimize Occupational Health and Safety Management System of Company A is not only to the benefit of health and safety of the staff but also to other mining companies and relevant industries should the advanced management experience is to be introduced.Current research status on Occupational Health and Safety management both in China and abroad is introduced firstly in this paper before basic definitions and relevant theories on OHS management is outlined. Company A's current OHS management status is then introduced and analyzed Several commonly used OHS management assessment methods are compared before Analytic Hierarchy Processis used to conduct a comprehensive assessment and rating on OHSMS of Company A. Analytic Hierarchy Process is used again to determine future improvement options with regard to Company A's OHSMS improvement. At last improvement recommendations is proposed.Main research achievements made by this paper include:(1)A comprehensive assessment model on OHSMS of Company A based on Analytic Hierarchy Process is built;(2)Scoring and rating on indexes of OHSMS of Company A is organized, result of which analyzed and improvement options selected and measures proposed.
