On one hand, the international demand is shrinking deeply due to the international financial crisis and sovereign debt crisis; on the other hand, the fierce competition of the domestic market, decreasing the profit so much. The sustainable development of the enterprise run into challenge, firms step into the key periods of transformation, upgrading and adjusting the structure. To solve the present problem, the first key step is setting the development strategy.The main products of the Cable group are rails usage signal cable, communication cable. How the Cable group should employ the special resources and ability forming from the last 37 years, and set the suitable development strategy is the main concern of the paper.This paper is based on the collecting of massive materials, in term of the strategy theories, employing the tools of PEST. Five forces style to analysis the total environment and industry environment, to scan the external environment of Cable Group, and then employ the core competence theories to refine the competitive advantage of Cable Group. Finally use the SWOT analysis tool to choose the right suitable development strategy for Cable Group and the Guarantee measures as well.The purpose of this paper is not only setting the development strategy for Cable Group but also providing the dependents references and tools for other firms. |
