The middle management is the core of the enterprise personnel, the merits of performance of the middle management will generate propulsive effect on the survival and development of enterprises, the ultimate realization of the strategic objectives. The performance evaluation of middle managers is an important means to test their ability and quality, and is also a key way to help them find their deficiencies and to take effective measures to continue their progress. Therefore, effective performance appraisal for middle managers is an effective way to ensure the sustainable, rapid and healthy development of enterprises. At present,most of our enterprises learn and implement the middle managers performance evaluation, due to the influence of traditional ideas, the implementation of the background environment,cultural differences and organizers, evaluator, the employee under evaluation and understanding of the performance evaluation on the understanding of the differences in the performance test of middle-level managers still exist many problems in the process 。 For example, the evaluation index is not reasonable, the method of determining index weight is not scientific, and the evaluation process is not perfect,etc,thus makes the performance appraisal has not achieved the anticipated goal.In view of the above reasons,this paper takes ZM company as an example to study the performance evaluation system of middle management. Firstly,through in-depth study of the company we can further study and combing performance evaluation theory, we can also find the theoretical basis for the performance evaluation of the production middle management staff of the company. Secondly,studies from the evaluation index, index weight and evaluation process and other aspects of ZM company’s middle managers performance appraisal system, found problems in the process of evaluation and analysis of its causes, will provide a practical basis for the further improvement of the performance appraisal system.Thirdly,based on summarizing the relevant theoretical research results, this paper put forward an analysis method based on fuzzy hierarchy, filters the middle managersperformance evaluation indicators of ZM company by 3 primary indicators(job performance, working ability and working attitude),10 secondary indicators(product quality, personnel training, decision-making ability, coordination ability,etc.).And the weight of each index was reset, and a new performance evaluation model was established. Finally,this paper put forward the guarantee measures to ensure the effective operation of the performance appraisal system, based on the evaluation period, feedback mechanism, appeal mechanism, the application mechanism and so on。...
