Study On Ecological Niche Evaluation Of Social Enterprise In Social Entrepreneurship Ecosystem

Over the past few decades,social enterprise began to rise and flourish all over the world.Driven by both social mission and market economy,it has attracted widespread attention.Its unique innovation model to solve social problems has already created economic and social value.Social entrepreneurship ecosystem,consisted of ecological populations like social enterprise and its survival and development of the social entrepreneurship ecological environment is a dynamic balance system.The ecosystem possesses such significant characteristics as mutual influence and mutual dependence.For social enterprise in social entrepreneurship ecosystem,how to deal with external changes and grab opportunities does matter its lifecycle and the improvement of competitiveness.As the theoretical and practical issue that is rising in the latest decades,research on ecological niche not only has a positive influence on responding to market changes,but also has a significant meaning to improve performance for social enterprise.Thus,it's of theoretical and practical significance to research on construction of evaluation index system for ecological niche in social enterprise.This paper built the index system of ecological niche which could be used for evaluation based on the application of factor analysis an d BP neural network in social enterprises.Firstly,this paper introduced the theories of competitiveness,resource dependency,social capital and symbiosis.Then the systematic reviews of social enterprise,the content and evaluation of ecological niche were also made.Secondly,by introducing the social entrepreneurship ecosystem connotation and the structure of enterprise niche,it explained niche breadth and overlap,ideal niche and the real niche,niche selection and optimization.Then this paper analyzed the evolution of ecological niche.Thirdly,based on the theories and mechanisms above,we preliminarily constructed the ecological niche evaluation index system consisted of three dimensions including viability,competitiveness and development referring specificity of social enterprise and scholars' achievements.T hen we make an index system optimization with the index discrimination,the correlation analysis and other statistical analysis methods.Ultimately,we get a set of comprehensive evaluation index system.Finally,while conducting the questionnaire survey with the evaluation index system constructed,we also used factor analysis to concentrate the index system and BP neural network to do empirical research in social enterprises randomly selected.According to the empirical results analyzing the ec ological niche of samples,we can draw a conclusion that the ecological niche has to be improved.Through the application of the evaluation index system using BP neural network,the real condition of enterprise's ecological niche is better reflected and the rationality and scientificity are also verified.The results showed that the ecological niche of social enterprise is different in aspects like competitiveness and development with that of traditional enterprise.Through the application of index system,we could draw a conclusion that the level of ecological niche in social enterprise differs broadly and is urgently to be improved.The whole results enrich and expand the theory and method of ecological niche,and provide a valid reference for social enterprise to improve competence as well.Thus,this research is of great significance both theoretically and practically.
