Evaluation And Empirical Study On Suitability Of Social Entrepreneurship Ecosystem

Social entrepreneurship is a new worldwide rising entrepreneurial idea and Social entrepreneurship is a new worldwide rising entrepreneurial idea and patterns in recent years, and its core is to create social value with the use of market mechanisms. It's the relevance and collaboration of social entrepreneurship at all levels and various elements, which prompts the formation of social entrepreneurship system.The similarity in terms of structural elements between social entrepreneurship system and natural ecosystems makes it feasible to interpret social entrepreneurship system with the use of ecological theory. Social entrepreneurship, which consists of ecological communities and entrepreneurial supportive environment, is a interdependent, mutually influence and common development homeostasis system. In terms of social entrepreneurship, China fall far behind Western countries, the main reason is that social entrepreneurship eco-system is not complete enough, suitability of social entrepreneurship is not high, social enterprise can neither get better on their own development nor fully play its role. Therefore, it is positive for promoting the healthy development of social entrepreneurship ecosystem to research social entrepreneurship ecosystem suitability assessment with the use of Niche theory.Firstly, this paper introduces the theory of ecosystems, niche theory, resource dependence theory and social capital theory as the theory bases and systematically literature reviews the relevant research accomplishments on the social entrepreneurship, social enterprises and entrepreneurial ecosystem suitability evaluation at home and abroad, which provides reference for this research. Secondly, after detailedly explaining connotation and characteristics and analyzing elements of social entrepreneurship ecosystem, this paper finds a similar point between social entrepreneurship ecosystems and natural ecosystems. On this basis, with reference to niche theory this paper defines the concept of social entrepreneurship suitability and builds social entrepreneurship ecosystem suitability model. Again, based on the previous theoretical analysis, with extensive reference to relevant research literature, this paper preliminarily builds suitability evaluation index system of social entrepreneurship from nine aspects which are social enterprises, government departments, universities and research institutions, investment institutions, intermediary service agencies, related enterprises, economic environment, culture and natural environment and optimizes the initial index system through expert consultation to eventually forme a more comprehensive evaluation system. We determine the relative weight of the each levels of evaluation index with the use of AHP.Finally, while conducting the questionnaire with the evaluation index system, we also use gray correlation analysis method and choose the social entrepreneurship ecosystem of Beijing City as evaluation object to do evaluation application research, then make countermeasure and suggestions based on evaluation results and problems. Through the application of evaluation index system, it better reflects the actual situation of social entrepreneurship ecosystem suitability and proves the rationality and scientificity of index system.
