A company is a multi-national company with over 50 years history, who is a globally company manufactures server and note book. With the growth of Europe andAmerica market, A company wished to construct some new product lines, expand the production capacity to meet the more and more shipment requirement from customer to keep leading the Europe and America market.However, project management techniques in A company currently can not catch up with the development of modern project management. During the implementation of project, there are always being some problem such as project's progression behind schedule, manpower not enough and some unexpected issue are always having impact on project cost control and make the income of project decrease while cause the profit of the company lose During A company DES server project, project team create new way of project management compare with before in A company project, implement the project management based on modern project schedule management theory and techniques, and insured DES server project progress according to plan. It has significant contribution to future project management in DES server project management.This thesis based on project management technology system. Special points were selected for project controlling, analyze the reason of Project scheduling delay.Main reasons as below: the project scheduling control is not reasonable, supplier management is not standard, product management is not reasonable,quality control lack and project risk control is insufficient. Countermeasure was raised base on solving these problems. And Scheduling plan was adjust accordingly. The thesis summarized the successful experience of server project, hope to make some suggestions as the reference of effective control and management for server product project.
