With economic globalization and the advent of the network age, more and more manufacturers realize the importance of project management, meanwhile the enterprises are meeting challenges from develop management level and global market competition. The project schedule management is an important part of project management. It's an important factor to measure the level of project management. The enterprises will get better benefit and development with reasonable and feasible schedule and scientific progress control.This article introduce "project schedule management of packing machine assembly project", analysis and points out the deficiencies in the schedule management of this project, there are three issues:the planning of the project schedule is not reasonable; the project schedule is delay from time to time; project communications management is insufficient. And then discuss the three problems with the method of quantitative analysis and qualitative analysis. For the first problem, improve the schedule planning of the packing machine assembly project, analyzed the influencing factors of the project schedule and obtained the key factors by the AHP (Analytic Hierarchy Process) method. And established the work breakdown structure of WBS, got the critical path of the project by the method of network diagram, and puts forward the optimization plan to the schedule progress. Regarding the second problem, Analyzed the problem of project schedule delay with cause and effect analytic method, and then the corresponding improvement measures are put forward. Finally, the third problem, the paper put forward the improvement plan for the communications management of the packing machine assembly project, which can improve the effective communications of the project information, and ensure the progress of the project according to the schedule.This article analyzed existing problems system in ABC company's packing machine assembly project schedule management. It can improve project schedule management level of manufacturers, especially customer order-oriented manufacturers, and have certain practical significance.
