The Chinese automobile industry as an indispensible part of the world automobile industry has finished the progress of scale from small to big, the product from oneness to multiplicity and the brand from less to more after the development of several decades. Automobile manufacturing has already turned to be the pillar industry of the national economy. As it is anticipated by 2020, the sales quantity of our automobile market will achieve 30 million and the Chinese automobile industry will hold a great promise. The logistics automation assembly line transmission equipment as the high technical content comparatively speaking in the automobile manufacturing whose start and development is synchronous with automobile manufacturing. However, the Chinese automobile industry is at a rather late start, our strength is obviously weak compared with the world automobile manufacturer, besides, the integrator of relative automobile manufacturing transmission system is mainly the large enterprise in foreign country who is at the technology-leading position at present. As to the integrator in domestic, the priority of how to develop our own technology and improve core competence is for all.H Company is one of the most important integrator in the automation assembly line transmission system in domestic. The company has achieved promoting results with the development of national economy. In recent years, the company increased the investment on R&D, but for lacking the scientific research management method there exists some problems during the process. Such situation limits the development of our company and the market extension at a certain degree.This thesis on the basis of extensive application at home and abroad in the analysis of researching and management schedule is aimed at the characteristic of H Company to put forward several solutions optimizing the R&D management, so as to build up a suitable R&D system for H Company. By dissecting the research progress of the transmission equipment to H Company, we put forward a optimizing R&D, relying on Stage-Gate System and the PLM projects to establishment scientific R&D management method which fit the company and to comprehensively implementing the research schedule after amendment, consequently to help the company to acquire advantage in leading-technology. This enables the enterprise control the schedule in the progress of enhancing R&D and increase information share platform, as a result to reduce the cost of research and improve the purpose of research progress.This thesis aiming at the research analysis in the progress of product research management and optimizing projects, not only provides valuable practical advice to H company referring to the improvement of research working management progress, but also sets an example to improve projects for those integrator in regard to the automation transmission system as well as the enterprise which in need to improve research progress.
