In a time when China s economy bolstered by the globalization and internationalization, enterprises are blooming across the country compared to these in the years prior to the Reform and Opening Up Policy since 1987. With the rapid development of economy and general increase of profitability for enterprises, the EAP systems most enterprises adopt have been experiencing adjustments or changes in order to catch up with the time and to enhance employees working efficiencies for the sake of better performances of enterprises in general. BD, established in 2000, is the biggest Chinese search engine. After decades of development, the company grows to be one of the biggest internet giant in China. With its rapid expansion and huge employment rate, issues found in the current EAP cannot b neglected anymore, and the current EAP need to be improved urgently to tackled the pressures experienced by its employees under the new environment. Through the review of relevant foreign and domestic literature on EAP and based on EAP of BD and on the problems encountered by it in its improvement and adjustment of the EAP. The thesis employs methods including questionnaire investigation, interviews etc. to gather data from employees of different regions and departments in BD. The gather data was then analyzed using different analytical methodologies and theories to identify the pressure sources and then some constructive suggestions were generated to help BD to carry out the current improvement of its EAP. The analyses of data provides statistical support for the suggestions drawn. It is hope that some constructive suggestions have been put forward for companies including BD to refer in their processes of tackling issues encountered in their improvement or adjustment of EAP.
