Gear chamfering is widely used in transmission gear shift of automobiles, motorcycles, agricultural machinery industry and so on. Due to the research and development of domestic gear chamfering processing is less, the parameters of the gear chamfering machine is relatively complex, so the efficiency of gear processing is seriously affect.At present, the CNC system of market should not only in terms of cost advantage, there is demand on functional diversity. So, in view of the defects of gear chamfering processing and the market demand for CNC system, the research and development of the special NC system for gear chamfering machine.Special numerical control system of CNC gear chamfering machine, which is mainly combined by the numerical control device, servo feed system, workpiece box system, cutter shaft system, machine tool bed, and other auxiliary equipment and so on, on the basis of the analysis of the special nc system and gear chamfering machine principle of chamfering processing, set up overall scheme of the gear chamfering machine CNC system, among them, the special CNC system hardware, based on ARM+FPGA, embedded dual processor hardware platform, software of CNC system, based on Linux v+Xenomai, multitasking real-time platform of software architecture. Emphatically from the man-machine interface, task management module, motor control module, PLC modules, this paper introduces the function of CNC system software module, among them, the PLC part development program is given.The whole platform scheme with high performance, compact structure, flexible configuration, real-time stability is good characteristic.Implementation of gear chamfering processing is composed of cutter lateral movement and the workpiece rotation, two axes linkage interpolation to realize the chamfering of sharp corner and continuous arc. This processing method can guarantee the gear chamfering machine wide adaptability and high efficiency.The feed movement of gear chamfering machine with high-speed intermittent, reasonable Acc/Dec control method can reduce bad phenomenon, such as the shock, out of step, over travel, vibration and so on. Based on the gear chamfering processing to real-time, less computation and flexible enough, chose the after interpolation of Acc/Dec control method. At the same time, based on the analysis of linear Acc/Dec, trigonometric function Acc/Dec, exponential Ace/Dec, S curve Acc/Dec, the controlling method of the simplyfied S curve is brought up in this thesis, and control model appropriate correction, can completely special CNC system for gear chamfering machine.Form the practical point of gear chamfering machine machining CNC system, this thesis is also setting up a coordinate system for the gear chamfering machine, and first puts forward the concrete steps of the adjustment of the gear chamfering machine, at the same time, this thesis constructs a model of machining gear chamfering machine. The sensor is installed to be detected in the workpiece spindle box, can achieve automatic measurement of workpiece, tooth position, calculate the spindle of the starting point, the complex degree greatly reduce of the gear chamfering machine's adjusting parameters. The sharp angle chamfering macro variable meaning and continuous circular arc chamfering macro variable meaning is given, and the corresponding macro program is also given.
