Adding ball is an essential part in grinding process,reasonable steel ball filling rate is the premise to ensure the efficient operation of ball mill.At present,most of the ball mills in our country adopt artificial adding ball.Manual operation by the energy,sense of responsibility,proficiency,operating experience and other factors,it is difficult to make up the ball timely according to the production situation in a manner,even appears the case of being lack of or falling off the ball.Grinding is a complex production process and high energy consumption,accounting for a large proportion of the cost of the ore dressing plant,therefore,it can overcome the drawbacks of artificially adding ball to realize the intelligently automatic control in the process of the ball mill adding balls,such as not timely,unreasonable,large labor intensity and other deficiencies.At the same time,it can also reduce power consumption and improve production efficiency,thereby improving the economic benefits of mineral processing enterprises.In this paper,the research and development of intelligent automatic ball adding system is studied.This paper introduces the development status of domestic and foreign mineral processing automation technology and automatic ball adding equipment,and analyzes the working principle and existing problems of automatic ball adding equipment at home and abroad.Based on the research of the existing control methods of the ball adding machine,the design scheme of the intelligent automatic ball adding system is determined.According to some domestic and foreign automatic ball-charger existing plugging ball problem,this paper introduces in detail the way to solve the plugging ball problem,and innovatively designs a dredging device.Based on the analysis of the relationship between the current and the filling rate of the ball mill,the intelligent control algorithm is used to detect the filling rate,thereby achieving reasonable automatic adding steel ball and improving the rationality of the ball mill.In order to realize the advanced,intelligent,practical and economical advantages of distributed control system,the design model of automatic ball system achieve automatic detection,control and management of the ball mill ball added with PLC as the control center,detection device with laser sensor and current transmitter,the inverter and inverter as instruments.The machine adopts German SIEMENS S7-200 model PLC control system,and the host computer adopts industrial computer.The development of man-machine interface in the Kingview 6.53 configuration software,with rich and intuitive monitoring interface and convenient operation,has good control function and monitoring function,being able to achieve automatic control and remote information management system with ball mill,and it has good stability,high reliability and adaptability.Finally,the application of the automatic ball adding system is tested,and the problem of blocking and clamping ball is solved,and make precise control of the steel ball mixed with satisfactory results.
