For the purpose of designing a new collector in separating iron ore from gangue mineral effectively,The theme using ammonia propyl aminoethyl dimethoxy silane(TAS100)and benzyl chloride as reactants generate a new synthetic organic silicon(TAS550)collector,laboratory test applied this potion to purify the magnetite iron and the separation of artificial mixed mineral flotation,We inspect the performance of synthetic potion collecting in flotation by the motherd of analysis the mechanism of mineral reacts with the performance of synthetic potion through the measures of testing technology of contact Angle,adsorption potential analysis and infrared detection,The conclusion of test and mechanism research is as follows:(1)Single mineral flotation test results show that organic silicon TAS550 and Dodecylamine collector react with three gangue mineral of quartz,garnet,peridot showed a good ability of collectingthe while the pH between 7 and 9,TAS550 is superior to Dodecylamine in collecting performance,its recovery rate is higher than Dodecylamine;TAS550 also have a certain ability in collecting magnetite,the starch can Inhibition of magnetite effectively,but the dosage of starch will be slightly higher than the Dodecylamine when TAS550 as the collector.(2)Artificial mixed mineral reverse flotation purification experiment results shows that when artificial mixture of magnetite ore middlings and gangue mineral quality ratio of2:1,TAS550 as the collector,starch as inhibitor,it obtained a grade of iron concentrate 68.04%,recovery rate of 93.46%;it obtained a grade of iron concentrate 68.42%,the recovery rate of93.27% when artificial mixture of magnetite ore middlings and gangue mineral quality ratio of3:1;it obtained a grade of high purity iron concentrate 68.3% and recovery rate 94.36% when artificial mixture of magnetite ore middlings and gangue mineral quality ratio of 3:1.Thus,the TAS550 and starch can realize magnetite and quartz seperated completely,we can get a better index with the improvement of magnetite milling grade.(3)The mechanism of research results show that adsorption of quartz,garnet and peridot surface quantity and contact Angle increasing with the improvement of TAS550 collector concentration in the flotation pulp,adsorption effect is best in the pH 7 to 9,three kinds of mineral surface contact Angle can increase to more than 85 DHS;The collector although there is no new peak occurred in infrared spectrum after TAS550 react with three kinds of gangue mineral surface,but the absorption peak migrated and becomes higher,three kinds of gangue mineral surface Zeta potential all happened is moved in the slurry pH range affected by TAS550,it means TAS550 adsorpt gangue minerals;Starch react with magnetite in the function of hydrogen bond force of physics and adsorption chemical adsorption.As for magnetite,they willcompete in magnetite surface adsorption when flotation pulp in the presence of starch and TAS550 at the same time,and starch can adsorption on the mineral surface effectively,the contact Angle will down to 5 DHS in magnetite surface,thus the flotability of differences of the magnetite and gangue mineral will greatly increased,between the main force are hydrogen bonds and chemical adsorption between starch and magnetite,inhibit optimal pH value is 8.
