This paper mainly studies the application of cationic amine collector in reverse flotation process of iron ore,explored a new type of combined reagent of amine collector,which can obtain good index of reverse flotation iron concentrate and overcome the disadvantages of traditional amine collector,such as high viscosity and poor fluidity.According to the flotation test of pure minerals,dodecylamine,XK-? and XK-? have good collection effect on pure quartz minerals,and the flotation test of pure quartz minerals can achieve a recovery rate of more than 95%.The reverse flotation test of pure quartz ore and pure magnetite separation,the pH value of 6.5,the three collectors have the best selectivity for the separation of quartz and magnetite.With the increase of dosage,the selectivity of the three collectors decreased,especially XK-?.In order to investigate the synergistic effect of the reagents,three kinds of collectors and diesel oils combined with one other as a combination reagent were used for the flotation test of six kinds of combinations.The results showed that the flotation indexes obtained by the combination of XK-? and XK-? were the best,which was superior to those obtained by the combination of other reagents and the separate use of three collectors.The selectivity of quartz and magnetite flotation separation is the best,when the ratio of XK-? to XK-? was 2:8(the new combination reagent called XK-28 in this paper.Using one rough and one cleaning process to treat the flotation feeding in GongchanglingPlant,the dosage of reagents relatively selected flotation feeding,when the pH value of the pulp is 6.5 and the dosage of starch is 600g/t and the dosage of XK-28 is 90g/t,obtained 68.01% of concentrate grade and 75.92% of concentrate recovery rate.The flotation effect of the combined reagent collector XK-28 was better than dodecylamine by the actual mineral flotation test.A closed-circuit test was carried out to use one rough and one cleaning and three stages of scavenger for the flotation feeding of the Gongchangling Plant,at pH 6.5,the dosage of starch is 600g/t,and the dosage of dodecylamine is 60g/t.The concentrate grade was 64.21% and the recovery rate was 78.92%.Under the same conditions of mineral processing,the value of pH and starch dosage,the dosage of Suangbian 28 is 90g/t.The concentrate grade was 67.23% and the recovery rate was 80.84%.Compared with dodecylamine,concentrate iron grade decreased by 0.27% and the concentrate iron recovery rate increased by 9.40%.The flotation feeding of the Qidashan Plant was tested by using XK-28 as the collector,the concentrate grade of 67.48%,concentrate recovery of 81.51%.The flotation indexes of the two kinds of practical ore samples using the XK-28 combination collector are better than the site production index.The defoaming speed of the foam product obtained by using XK-28 and dodecylamine as collectors was compared in the experiment.The defoaming test showed that the defoaming speed of XK-28 was faster than that of dodecylamine.In the practical ore sample test,after the flotation foam product was scraped off,at 400 s,the defoaming of the foam product of XK-28 was completed basically.The foam of dodecylamine only burst 30%,and it burst 80% at 1500 s.The analysis of the mechanism shows that XK-28 can adsorb to quartz minerals,and has a very slight adsorption with magnetite,the infrared spectrum of the quartz and the combined reagent XK-28 showed a significant peak shift compared with the pure quartz infrared spectrum,it shows that the quartz and the collector XK-28 have physical adsorption.The QCM-D quartz crystal microbalance injection of the XK-28 solution into the magnetite quartz crystal sensor shows that the XK-28 solution and the magnetite quartz crystal sensor have a very slight adsorption effect.
