In response to the land conservation policy, Professor Ma Ke-jian has put forward a new kind of steel floor structure that is the steel Vierendeel sandwich plate structure, which has the spatial stress characteristic and suitable for high-rise construction of large-span. The structure can fully develop the characteristics of spatial grid structure and avoid the disadvantage of two-dimensional of force transmission for the traditional primary and secondary beam system. The structure consists of three parts: reinforced concrete hollow sandwich plate, steel concrete composite open web sandwich plate and steel Vierendeel sandwich plate. In order to realize the sustainable development, steel playing a more and more important role in the construction industry in recent years, which can embody the comprehensive advantage of steel structure prefabricated steel structure building research is particularly notable. Steel Vierendeel Sandwich plate floor has numerous advantages such as assembly unit of prefabricated factory production, site installation construction method, and higher level of industrialization. So it has practical significance for the research of this subject. The finite element simulation and theoretical analysis are adopted in order to study the mechanical performance and the internal force calculation method was adopted. The results obtained included:1. Introduced the improved, classification and characteristics of the Vierendeel sandwich plate. Discussed the current research status at home and abroad for the static and dynamic properties of Vierendeel sandwich plate and the composite floor and design theory research, The research of steel Vierendeel beam static calculation and design method are also proposed in this paper and at last put forward the value of the subject.2. Discussed the conventional design analysis method of the steel Vierendeel Sandwich Plate floor, and introduces the continuous method, equivalent stiffness method. In this chapter, we also introduced the finite element analysis software, the selection of the determinate element unit, the determination of the material properties and the solution method in detail.3. Based on the ANSYS software, established the numerical model of orthogonal steel Vierendeel Sandwich plate which is not considering the slip effect. For floor static calculation model is studied, influence of the concrete slab on static characteristics of the steel girder was analyzing. The results show that the concreteslab can improve steel Vierendeel Sandwich plate floor vertical stiffness, reduce the stress of the steel ribs and rectangular steel-tube shear blocks. It is necessary considered the synergistic effect of the steel girder and concrete slab in analysis and design.4. The numerical model whose parameters belong to the usual range of rectangular steel-tube shear blocks was established. The effect of stiffened plate on the joint zone by the mechanical and deformation analysis was anglicized, It is concluded that the stiffening plates can significantly affect the characteristics of the joint zone, effectively reduce stress level of the steel-tube and avoid the stress concentration of the joint zone. The economical width of the stiffening plate is suggested.5. According to the analysis of the mechanical properties of the structure,modified Vierendeel truss theory was proposed to calculate the internal force of the steel Vierendeel Sandwich slab. The internal force is based on the stiffness of cross beam system and according to the internal force of Vierendeel truss theory will be applied to each hollow beams are checked, the method considered local moment of upper and lower ribs section, considering the steel-tube shear blocks. And the calculation method of the joint zone was also proposed. Results show that the above calculation method is a real good agreement with the numerical analysis.The research done in this paper can provide a useful reference for the design and construction of this kind of structure.
