From the mid-1980-s, the management system of construction industry in our country began to reform, attracting the attention of the relevant personnel from the whole industry.Along with the development of our economy, more and more large-scale investment projects appeared, more and more complex project, the construction project management tending to be more professional, management mode gradually transform from bidding respectively of design, procurement, construction into integration management of EPC project general contracting mode for design, procurement, construction.EPC project general contracting mod is a lump-sum contracting mode that owner entrust general contractor to undertake the design, equipment and material procurement, engineering, construction and commissioning work tasks.For engineering general contractor, the control of the project quality, project date and project cost is just the premise of its profits. Under the meet the requirements of the owner’s project anticipated target, general contractor dominated in the work of design,procurement and construction. Through effective project management, coordinating the implementation of each part of the work, general contractor can obtain better benefits. However, the general contractor undertake the most risk of the project in the process of project quality, safety, time limit, then the risk management and control consciousness become the decisive factor in the benefit that general contractor get from the project.Based on the research of the development and features of EPC project general contracting mode, analyzing the difference between the EPC mode and the traditional contract mode, according to the characteristics of the risk management,point out that the characteristics of the risk of EPC project general contracting mode, and analysis construction risk management planning, risk identification, risk assessment and risk response from three aspects of design, procurement and construction.Then, build risk evaluation model, using the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation, combined with the analytic hierarchy process (AHP), list the weighting step OF risk factors of EPC project general contracting mode, combined with engineering project as an example, calculation of EPC project general contracting of proportion of risk factors, as risk coping guidance target. Through the research of this paper, deepen the Domestic investors’understanding of the EPC project general contracting mode, improve the level of understanding of risk management and control consciousness, thereby promoting the development of EPC project general contracting mode and the correlation of the general contractor in our country, strengthen the competitiveness of China in the international big investment project.
