The rise and fall of a country's language is closely related to the country's comprehensivenational strength. After joining the WTO since2001and the formal integration into the worldeconomy, China's economy has experienced a decade of rapid development, now becomingthe world's second largest economy. In the world, with the rapid development of China'seconomy, there appears an upsurge of learning Chinese. The Confucius Institutes are set up allaround the world, and more and more foreign students come to China to learn Chinese.In this trend of "Chinese fever", Japan, our neighbor of the narrow strip of water, isnaturally not far behind. Natural advantages of location greatly facilitate Japanese students tocome to China to learn Chinese. The strong roots between Japanese and Chinese benefitJapanese students to learn Chinese. However, if this advantage is not made the most use of, itwill adversely affect the learning of Chinese. It is precisely because of these origins, Japaneseand Chinese have many similarities, which let the Japanese students mistakenly believe thatthe Japanese language knowledge can be transplanted to the Chinese. As a result, the negativetransfer of mother tongue phenomenon appears and is difficult to correct.There are many reasons for Japanese students' errors of Chinese pronunciation, includingthe impact of the mother tongue, their own reasons and the inadequacies of the Chineselearning environment in Japan. Japanese students who come to China to learn Chinese, haveoften already learned the basic knowledge of Chinese in Japan. It should be said that thenegative transfer of mother tongue influence has deeper impact and is more difficult tocorrect.On the basis of the comparison between Chinese and Japanese, Many scholars in Chinahave summed up some of the principles of Chinese language teaching towards Japan.According to Krashen's input hypothesis and Swain's output hypothesis, referring to thecontributions of the senior scholars, I sum up some measures of teaching Chinesepronunciation on my own, in the hope that I can make my own contribution to the currentChinese as a Foreign Language.
