With the rapid rise of China's economy,China has attracted the attention of many overseas students,many students want to choose to study in China,but because of the threshold of Chinese language,they can only look away.To solve this problem,Colleges and universities are giving a rush opening of courses taught in English projects which will absorb more students and speed up the international development of education.Hence the number of students who choose to study in China is rising year by year.However,due to the courses taught in English project for college students is a new thing,and its curriculum,teaching materials selection and test evaluation are still in the exploratory stage,so the development process will inevitably encounter difficulties and challenges.This paper has practical significance in solving the existing problems of Chinese teaching in English teaching.In this paper,taking South China University of Technology as an example,this paper conducts a comprehensive survey of the current situation of Chinese teaching of courses taught in English project through questionnaires,interviews and classroom observation.Based on the survey,this paper Conduct in-depth analysis From five aspects,such as students,teachers,teaching materials,curriculum and evaluation methods.It found that the teaching materials lack of practicality and curriculum lack of scientific rationality is the main problem.The main factor leading to this problem is due to the lack of scientific and rational Chinese curriculum level hierarchy and unified teaching syllabus.In the end,this paper puts forward some suggestions on the development of Chinese teaching of courses taught in English project.Which the selection of teaching materials I suggest that attention should be paid to its relevance,practicality,and its applicability,and suggested that teachers self-teaching materials.It is suggested that a unified syllabus should be established,and the level of Chinese course should be scientifically divided according to the Chinese standard.This is also the basis and guide for solving other problems.
