At present,the construction of China's basic cities is advancing continuously.In the process of transformation from rural areas to urban areas,a unique cross area between rural areas and urban areas has emerged--the urban fringe area.Farmers gradually out of the country,and to the town to work and home,creating a special dynamic intergration of a social group,urban and rural residents,and the special social group as the urbanization process is becoming more and more big.At the same time,their children often move with them and go to school on the spot.A complex and unique group of students has emerged--students from Urban fringe schools.Now,due to the backward of teaching facilities,complicated student enrollment,social and family support and other reasons in urban fringe schools,the students' education problem is serious in that area,especially the question of education balanced development should deserve the attention of the state,society,schools and so on.Based on the English Curriculum Standard for compulsory Education,this study takes three urban fringe primary schools in Wanzhou District as an example to pass the questionnaire.Interviews were conducted to investigate the English learning status of primary school students in urban and rural areas.This study aims to solve the following three problems: First,to understand the current situation of primary school students' English learning and teachers' English teaching in the urban fringe of Wanzhou District.Secondly,through the survey of the status and results.This paper analyzes the factors that affect English learning,that is,the individual differences of learners.Thirdly,through the analysis of the causes,the author puts forward some concrete suggestions for improving the English teaching in primary schools in urban and rural areas.The results show that the present situation of primary school students' English learning in those three schools is not optimistic.According to the standard of percentage,both subjective factors and objective factors fail,so the English learning situation of primary school students in Urban-rural areas is a matter of concern.This article respectively to the administrative department of education,schools and families,English teachers and studentsput forward the corresponding proposal: First,education decision-making management department shall realize urban and rural integration of primary school students English study present situation,and according to the special geographical and cultural,combined with the overall requirements of urban and rural development,adjust measures to local conditions to design education principles and policies,ensure the balanced development of the school of urban-rural fringe,guarantee the integration of urban and rural areas also have and urban students the same fair chance to accept education and education resources.Second,the school education and family education are independent of each other,and influence each other,be short of one cannot,in the urban fringe school is still so,it is because of the special environment,family education should give school education more support,should be encouraged to urban-rural fringe of the parents of the students pay more attention to family education,school should give students the family at the same time corresponding scientific guidance.Third,foreign language teachers should pay more attention to the students of the integration of urban and rural areas,especially must pay attention to students' interest in learning foreign language and attitude,pay attention to the values of transmission right,guide students to more positive towards foreign language learning.Four,the integration of urban and rural areas students need more guidance on learning methods and habits,only to use the scientific method and keep good study habits can help them better adapt to learning and enhance learning effect.
