The thesis, based on the Spring Festival in modern fiction as the research object, through the statement of the complicated connotation of the Spring Festival and literary value of Spring Festival literature in narratology, demonstrates a different narrative from a single line and the meaning of the Spring Festival narrative in ancient novels. The Spring Festival in modern Chinese novel is endowed with more connotations and value, which makes the readers have a deeper understanding and cognition for the traditional festivals and helps inheritance of the traditional festivals and the development of the modern novels with Spring Festival as a representative. And this thesis summarizes the cause of the weakness of lunar New Year atmosphere in real environment and development measures.
