Omit The Application Of The Strategy In The Simultaneous Interpretation Of The Interview Program

In this thesis,based on the simulation practice of simultaneous interpretation of the "Jinxing Show",the author analyzes the application of omission strategy in simultaneous interpretation of the show.The author summarizes the use of omission strategy in several cases,including the omission of repeated part and redundant part.In omission of the repeated part,two strategies are used,including the omission of the adjectives and the omission of the repeated verbs.While in omission of the redundant parts,strategies of omitting of noun,modal particle and category words are applied.Due to the differences in grammar and culture between Chinese and English,the author uses omission strategy to reduce duplication and redundancy in interpretation,so that the English expression is more in line with English syntactic habits,and interpretation quality is thus improved.With these interpretation methods,the interpreter will perform better when they are interpreting in the talking show.
