During the World War ?,the United States provided the Soviet Union with large quantities of lend-lease supplies out of the consideration of its national security strategy.US and USSR developed cooperatively "the Alaskan-Siberian Air Route"(ALSIB).The route provided nearly eight thousand military aircraft for the Soviet Union, accounting for more than half of the total lend-lease aircraft.Soviet Union made efficient use of the aircraft, which played extremely positive role in promoting the Soviet wartime air force. In general, the ALSIB had experienced terrible natural and weather condition, and cooperation as well as conflicts co-existed.In addition, the ALSIB strengthened the wartime relations between the two big powers, and promoted the development of aviation industries in both countries. To some extent, the activity of the BRAVO 369 Team recreating the flight of ALSIB has positive significance upon the bilateral relations between US and RF.
