| Migration has played an important role on economy and other aspects of human life,such as family,regionalism,statedhood or even our world.With the globalized world,the forms of migration and the factors which lead people migrate are ever changing.The study of migration should keep up with times.On the prior achievement in the filed,new migration theory should be established and perfected.The author translates the academic paper,Geography and Migration Studies: Retrospect and prospect,hoping to enrich the information of geography and migration,and do some contribution to the translation of academic paper on geography and migration.In this thesis,the features of geographical text are analyzed.And the translation skills of the common words in the geographical text,of adverbial participle structure and of compound sentences are concluded with the good of deeping our collective understanding of geography and migration.This thesis hopes to give a hand to the researchers who study the field of geography and migration. |
