Research On Zero Translation Strategies In Interpretation Of Press Conferences

With the deepening of internationalization,cultural exchanges among countries take place frequently,the press conference has become a main medium to release news and launch new products by countries,enterprises or organizations.Today,the social and political awareness of the public continues to increase,people are increasingly concerned about the press conference.Oral interpretation,as the main channel of communication in the press conference,plays an important role.Zero translation strategy is a new type of translation strategy,which can greatly reduce the cultural differences,save translation time and improve the efficiency of translation.It is often used in the press conference.So the study of zero translation strategy in oral interpretation of press conference is essential for intercultural communication.Based on the theory of zero translation and the corpus of different press conferences,the author analyzes the application of zero translation strategy in the press conference.And she applies the zero translation strategy to her own oral interpretation practice,and sums up how to use zero translation strategy well in the future,with a view to providing a referential experience for interpreters.
