How Public Art Reshapes The City's Vitality

With the Beijing government to move eastward and the central government's further introduction of non-capital functions decentralization,I can feel the speed of construction in Beijing.And I also think how public art act in the providing of strength for the development of Beijing and many other Chinese cities.Public art is the concept of Western countries,but still in the stage of rapid development in China.It serves for public society.Although the concept of art comes from western countries,it's very suitable for urban construction of China's new socialism.Now the rapid development of urban construction in China stun the world,but the uneven focus of it has incurred criticism from a number of foreign media.Our people will more or less feel in life the cold of living environment and the apathy of others.Fortunately,public art is such a kind of adhesive which can play a part in people,environment and people or people and cities.The author analyzes the problem areas of some cities in some countries primarily,and finds out the problems in the process of upgrading and transformation of urban construction and how they solved these.And based on national conditions,I try to find out the case of urban construction in China by the way of public art to study.That's the means I adapt to find out the way that fit the development and construction of Beijing.In last,I will be engaged in the further exploration of method to transform urban space construction by public art.
