A Study Of The Folk Craft Geography Of The Han Nationality In Sichuan In The Qing Dynasty

Folk art is an important cultural treasure of Chinese national art,carrying the national production skills,traditional culture,faith,customs,spirit and so on,with national and regional characteristics.Ming and Qing Dynasties are the heyday of the development of folk technology which is various,colorful,different,exquisite.In the Qing Dynasty,the folk craft of Sichuan was a prominent part of Chinese folk craft.The special natural and human environment created the distinctive characteristics of the folk craft in Sichuan,and formed complex characteristics and internal space differences of Sichuan folk craft.Folk arts as a combination of material and spiritual culture has regional and spatial differences.This paper studies the folk craft of Sichuan in the Qing Dynasty from the perspective of historical geography.This article consists of introduction,text and conclusion.The main contents are as follows: The introduction explains reason and research method of this topic,systematically reviews the research status of folk craft,and also expounds the definition of "folk craft" and the classification of folk craft in Sichuan.In the first chapter,the author discusses the geographical distribution of the sculpture,contexture,paper art,and pottery and lacquerware.The analysis of specific folk crafts mainly focuses on three aspects: First,the history,materials,modeling and production of the same kind of folk craft;Second,regional differences of the same kind of folk craft in materials,modeling,production and other aspects;At last,geographical distribution of the same kind of folk arts.In the second chapter,the author presents statistics on distribution of folk crafts in Sichuan in the Qing Dynasty,and then compares.The quantity of Sichuan folk crafts showed a band and scattered distribution.According to the overall distribution characteristics of folk crafts in Sichuan,it is divided into five regions: the eastern Sichuan,the western Sichuan plain,the southern Sichuan,the northern Sichuan and the central Sichuan.At the same time,the paper analyzes the regional differences of folk crafts based on production scale in Sichuan.Distribution of Folk crafts with smaller production scale is relatively uniform,and distribution area of folk crafts with large production scale is mainly in western Sichuan plain and eastern Sichuan.The third chapter shows the natural environment and humanistic environment of Sichuan in the Qing Dynasty,and discusses the influencing factors on the formation,development and distribution of the folk craft in Sichuan in the Qing Dynasty.Thenatural environment factors include natural materials,topography and climate hydrology,humanities Social factors are immigration,politics,economic population and folk beliefs.This paper also summarizes the basic characteristics of distribution of Sichuan folk craft and its spatial differences from the perspective of historical geography,and also elaborates the importance of influencing the factors that affect the formation,development and inheritance of folk crafts.It discusses the humanistic value of folk crafts from the perspective of folk art,and provides historical geography perspective for the current folk craft protection.
