Economic Report Paper "Heilongjiang Economic Development Report (2016)" Annual Report On Economic Development Of Heilongjiang (2016) Chinese-English Translation Practice Report

This report selects the economic development paper Annual Report on Economic Development of Heilongjiang(2016)as the translation text,the translator chose the first three chapters as the content of the English translation.Based on the translation practice,the translator analyzes the characteristics of the economic report and proposes the difficulties in the English translation process.Finally,it proposes translation strategies and methods for these difficulties.the report closely combines the linguistic features of the article,selects some typical cases,and focuses on the analysis of the translation of Chinese-character vocabulary,the translation of non-subjective sentences,and the logical relationship between segments.In terms of translation skills,several translation methods were proposed in detail,including: translation compensation;translation of non-subject sentences complements subject information by adding subject,using “it” as a form subject,and using passive voice;in terms of segment translation,increase the logical relationship word,adjust or rewrite word order in translation.
