Teaching materials occupy an important position in teaching Chinese as a foreign language.Through comparative analysis of the teaching materials,it is possible to find out its strengths and weaknesses.This will help the teaching materials to avoid weaknesses in their use and provide advice for others in the preparation of teaching materials.With the rapid development of Chinese international education,the focus of teaching has shifted from “listening” and“speaking” to “reading”and“writing”.People pay more attention to the writing of Chinese as a foreign language.This article takes the two intermediate writing textbooks “Intermediate Chinese Writing Course” and “New Chinese Writing Course” as research subjects,and uses literature research methods,statistical analysis methods and comparative analysis methods as research methods,mainly from style,model writing,and writing knowledge.Exercises and other angles to compare the two textbooks.By comparing these two textbooks,we draw their advantages and disadvantages,and put forward specific suggestions for the preparation of intermediate writing textbooks,in order to provide a certain reference value for the analysis,arrangement and publication of future foreign language writing materials.
