There is not much change on the natural geographical conditions which effect on the distribution of the traffic line in the historical period,so the traffic road has its continuity and stability characteristics. At the same time, other cultural factors like regime and scrap, ethnic distribution, settlement changes also effect on the distribution of the traffic line.So in different periods, the transportation has an inherent characteristic.10 to 12 century, the Eurasian present a multi-ethnic regime discrete geopolitical environment, profoundly influenced on the development of The Silk Road traffic during this period. The changes of eastern and western route of the Silk Road is the embodiment of this period. In 1036,Xixia has captured the Hexi corridor.Breakpoint for this event can be divided into two periods:the first time in 900-103 6.In this period, official trade road through the traditional Hexi corridor,Lingzhou route,Xiazhou route,Jingyuan route,Qinzhou route appeared one by one.The research focus on the attribute and the changes of roads. The second time in 1036-1127.In this period by the path of Qinghai region is the only road. The transition of the Northern Song Dynasty government attitude to Hehuang regime affecting the change of Qingtang road,And the later military action contribute to the formation of Qingtang road network system. The change of the western silk road in 10-12 century, make The Silk Road traffic development history into a transition era.In Central Asia, the south, middle and north continued three basic path to the Tang Dynasty, but the main and minor nature of the road have changed:the middle and north road were rised, the south road was decayed. This change that continues to the Yuan and Ming Dynasty,is a big turning of The Silk Road traffic road vicissitudes. So the cause of this phenomenon is an important issues that the study of 10-12 century silk road traffic cannot bypass. The silk road carries a lot of contacts between Chinese and Western, include people, goods, culture, technology and so on.The Silk Road traffic route restoration mostly in personnel as the clue, such as the mission of the tributary, the military operations, the traveler's travel and the national migration.Of course, the personnel exchanges is important, but the circulation of goods is also worthy of attention. The goods in different parts are transported from the place of origin to the central city or traffic hub. Then these goods can be circulated on the main Silk Road. Therefore, the restoration of the commodity circulation process will form a more complex and cumbersome road system. The formation of the road system will help you to know something about the country of origin of the goods and their specific travel path, enriching the connotation of the spirit of the Silk Road. Therefore, based on the flow of personnel and commodity circulation recovery is complete. On this basis, the analysis of the characteristics and changes of traffic roads in 10-12 century is the important content of this paper. When the domestic scholars restored the Silk Road traffic lines in 10-12 century, the focus is mainly concentrated in the East and middle of the road, while ignoring the restoration of the western section of the road. However, the research results of East and middle roads are rich, but different scholars have different emphases. At the same time, with the emergence of new materials and new methods, the results of previous studies are more necessary to renovate. Therefore, the characteristics of this paper lies in:making full use of Arabia's Islamic historical data,to go to the fair treatment of the three parts when research on East, middle and West of the Silk Road;Grasping every road concrete development process,to restorat the Silk Road as a whole;Making full use of the new archaeological data to renovate the research, and use the GIS to draw the map of the Silk Road.
