Translation As A Translation Of Communication Across Languages ??and Cultures (Chapter 11-13) English-Chinese Translation Practice Report

This is an translation report based on Chapter 11 to Chapter 12 of the book: Translation as Communication across Languages and Cultures,which is edited by Professor Juliane House,an internationally renowned translator.One of the important goals for the author to choose this book as a translation material is to have a deeper understanding of the development of today's translation industry.The author hopes to improve the translation skills through this translation practice.This translation report includes five chapters: translation task description,translation process description,translation process,case analysis and translation practice.The first three chapters briefly introduced the basic information of the book,as well as the preparatory,translating and post-translation preparation of the translation practice.In the fourth chapter,the author selects some typical cases to analyze and summarize the problems from three aspects.The fifth chapter is the summary and reflection of this whole translation practice.
