Research On The Influence Mechanism Of Marriage On Female Class Mobility

As one of the main aspects of social mobility, class mobility refers to the shift from a certain social position to another social status. It has always been the important fields in sociological research in our country and foreign countries. Although the western countries had began the study of female population mobility a few years ago, our countries has a shortage of domestic concern and research on women's mobility problem for a long time. Marriage has been seen as the most important in women's mobility, is also a kind of traditional flowing path, but the research about this problem is too little. Marriage can truly achieve the mobility of women or not, and what is the trend of flowing? And what is the influence mechanism? This article aim to explore the problems above all, and deepen this research.Based on Chinese General Social Survey(CGSS) which was carried out by Renmin University of China in 2010,the study used the methods of the theory modeling, investigation statistics and comparative analysis to explain the problem. First of all, from the perspective of marriage. On the one hand, the research is on the objective mobility caused by marriage. On the other hand, the research is on the subjective mobility of difference analysis by the female self class identity from the past to the present. And we can conclude the flowing trend of women class mobility as a whole. On this basis, having a study of the influence of the indicators which from the marriage on the whole women class mobility. The study found the features that marriage influence on Chinese female mobility: the main trend of the whole class flowing is upward. At the same time, having a small number of downward flowing and little part of no flowing; The original or remarried has no impact on the whole of women class mobility. And the difference of the couple age also has no impact on the whole of women class mobility; But in a certain objective conditions, the time length of the marriage can has influence on the whole of women class mobility; At last, there is no interactions and dependencies between the measures of the marriage.
