Research On The Living Conditions Of Local Migrant Workers From The Perspective Of Human Modernization

With the developing of China's modernization, nowadays, normal people how to achieve individual modernity has become an important topic. In the perspective of “individual modernity”, this article focus on the living circumstances of the local farmer-turned workers. In order to well carry out this research, the cotton textile workers who works in the rural enterprise of Gaoyang County, are selected as investigation objects. Firstly, research elaborates the developing track over a century and details about the local workers' daily life. Speaking of the research approaches, this part of thesis make a combination between diachronic study and synchronic study. Then, on the basis of abundant materials, article summarizes prominent issues that the local farmer-turned workers face, and find out plenty of influence factors. Therefore, for the sake of helping the local farmer-turned works achieve individual modernity, this study attempts to search methods from five aspects: mass culture, social security, industrial upgrading, education reform, hope dimension. In addition, the study are expected to do some thing with promoting China's modernization.
