Looking At China's Reform And Opening Up From Hua Guofeng's Foreign Visits

These changes are embedded in his foreign missions.Hua Guofeng's foreign missions are bounded by the third Plenary Session of the 11th CPC Central Committee, which is divided into two stages. In the previous phase, Hua Guofeng mainly visits the ongoing socialist reform of Romania and Yugoslavia, and focus on studying the two countries in opening to the outside world, introducing foreign experience and technical equipment, etc, which is beneficial to China's reform and opening up. After the third Plenary Session of the 11th CPC Central Committee, reform and opening up is a state policy. So, countries which Hua Guofeng visits mainly are western developed countries, and the key areas of investigation are modern production technology and enterprise management experience, etc. Hua Guofeng's diplomatic activities not only show the new image of China's opening to the world, but also prompt the central leadership of further liberation of thought, win the precious experience of the construction of economy, and promote the progress of China's reform and opening up.To sum up, Hua's diplomatic activities are the important reflection of the start of reform and opening up, and also the important power of promoting Chinese reform and opening up process. Therefore, Hua Guofeng is the start stage of China's reform and opening up of promoter and practitioner.
