Research On Moral Education In Japan During The Meiji Period

Meiji period of Japan began the construction of capitalism,the Japanese traditional moral education with the social reform and began to capitalist moral education.The purpose of this paper is.to analyze and summarize the characteristics of moral education in Meiji period in Japan,and summarize some experiences which have some reference significance to our moral education.Japanese moral education from the clear water "clarified minds" to Confucianism and Buddhism into the mainstream,and then to loyalty chastity as the center of the warrior moral norms,has continued to the Japanese government through the "Five Oath" and the promulgation of the successor of the county Carried out the Meiji Restoration,into a new era.At the beginning of the Meiji period,Japan's blindly absorbed Western translation textbooks and the birth of the "School System","Education Order",resulting in the degradation of traditional ethics,resulting in moral debate.Until the middle of the Meiji period,Western thought and Japanese traditional thought were intertwined into the content of moral education.After experiencing the attempt,exploration and comparison,Japan tends to return to the traditional Confucianism thought and produced "The Imperial Rescript on Education".In the later period of the Meiji period,it discussed the orientation of Japan's moral education afterthe Russo-Japanese War,the promulgation of the "Wu Shen Edict" and the J improvement of self-cultivation methods.Through the analysis of the arrangement of moral education content and the way of moral education implementation,this paper analyzes the essence of moral education thought,that is,the balance between social value and life value,through the moral education curriculum of Japan-Meiji period.It is precisely because of the two to promote the development of moral education,follow the pace of the times,which makes Japan in the Meiji period to take off,just half a century to finish the Western capitalist countries nearly two hundred years to finish the road,Feudal society to capitalist society.Japan's Meiji period moral education provides some experience and lessons for our moral education work.This study clarifies the Meiji period of Japanese moral education evolution track,revealing the characteristics of Meiji Japanese moral education,analysis of the characteristics of the Japanese nation,with a certain Reference value.
