Research On Citizen Participation In Public-private Partnerships In China

Public-private partnerships have been used abroad for many years.China used the PPP in 1990 s according to the successful experience in foreign countries and applied it in the field of infrastructure construction.Under the encouragement and protection of the relevant laws and policies,the PPP has developed rapidly and have made brilliant achievements and it begun to take shape in China.But at present,the research on the public-private partnership in China is still in the initial stage,and pay too much attention to the benefits of public-private partnerships lead to ignore many details problems’ research.So this paper choose the citizen participation in public and private cooperation as the research object.It is hoped that through the study of citizen participation,we can improve the study of public private cooperation.First of all,this paper selects citizen participation in public and private cooperation as a starting point,summarizes and reviews the research status of domestic and foreign related to this paper,and summarizes the significance of the research.Secondly,through the brief introduction of PPP’s concept,form and the development process,combined with the actual situation to sum up the concept,characteristics and types of the current citizens participation in public-private partnerships.Thirdly,the third part of the thesis analyzes the problems of citizen participation in the PPP at present,and makes a detailed analysis from the aspects of the citizens themselves,the external environment,legal institutions and so on.Finally,the fourth part of the paper is the most important part of the paper,through the analysis of the problem,combined with the actual situation in China,to find many solutions.To achieve the purpose of improving the quality of citizen participation in public-private partnerships,which can improve the operability and stability of public-private partnerships.
