The Study Of Gauz's Political Ecology Thoughts

Andre Gorz was a noted representative of the Existentialism Marxism as well as an important theorist of the Ecological Marxism.He was a contemporary French famous Left-wing thinker and his Political Ecology thoughts had a great significance on contemporary Ecology Marxism development.He criticized the Contemporary capitalism in depth from the aspect of the Political Ecology,and he realized that Ecological crisis and natural crisis were caused by the capitalist production in the modern society.In the process of social and economic development,we should replace Capitalist Ecological rationality with Capitalist Economic rationality and we should think that advanced socialism is the best way of protecting the Ecological environment.Gorz put Ecology with the Politics,the Economy,the Culture combining for forming his theory of Political Ecology.His theory was greatly influenced by famous thinker Sartre and rooted in Sartre's existential thoughts and existential Marxism thoughts.His theory was also influenced by Political Economics and the Ecology Natural views of Marxism.Lefebvre,Hebert Marcuse,Habermas' s thought and O'Connor,Bookchin's ecological Marxism ideology.This essay did some summaries,analysis and researches about Gorz's theory of political ecology.In the perspective of criticizing Capitalist Economic rationality,Gorz found that the deterioration of the Ecological environment in the world is because of the existing social system followed the rational Economic.In order to alleviate the current Ecological crisis,we should rebuild Ecological construction under the guidance of Ecological rationality.However,we could not undertake the rebuilding mission due to the limitations of Capitalist Society itself.So,Gorz realized that advanced Socialism is the best choice of rebuilding Ecological construction.In terms of criticizing the problem existing in reality,his assumption of building an advanced social system was proposed.Then he put forward strategy for the transformation from real society to the future advanced society,which enriched the Marxism's Ecological thoughts.Based on this,Gorz proposed a “decentralized”technologies of Political choice,“the fewer production,the better life”,the elimination of paid labor model,such as about relevance idea of the Ecological Socialism.Compared with other scholars' thoughts,I think that Gorz's theory ofPolitical Ecology has better theory value and actual sense in research methods,class position and practical path.From assumption and implementation of advanced socialism,Gorz's Political Ecology thought is of reference value and significance to our country's Socialist Ecological civilization construction.
